## Breaking change notice

The `audit_trail` collection has been removed from Itential Platform in the 2023.2 release. No audit logging replacement or equivalent is available at this time.

> The following two functions are **not** deprecated as part of this removal and can still be used in Platform 6:

> * `auditTrail.getUser()`
> * `auditTrail.getUserObject()`
